Prevalence Of HIV By County 2013 (females)

Today’s map of the day shows the prevalence of HIV by county among females in 2013. From the map we can see states along the Gulf Coast and southern states, such as Georgia, South and North Carolina had a higher prevalence of HIV in 2013 indicated by the darker shades. In contrast we can see from the lighter shades that some western and northern/northeastern states had a lower prevalence of HIV. In addition, when compared to the previous map of the day we can see from this map their are less counties in western states with a high rate of HIV among females compared to males.
