Particulate matter 2.5 (PM 2.5 ) is sum of all the liquids and gases suspended in the air that are 2.5 micrometers in radius or less. This can include a measure of how much pollen, dust, soot, etc. is in the air. Particulate matter can be hazardous to health if inhaled. This map details the average daily mean PM 2.5 of different regions in the United States.
